Welcome to the very first web site dedicated to honor the life and thoughtographic work of Ted Serios and the work of Ted’s son Leonardo Sirios.

While many refereed to Ted’s work as thoughtography, or thought photography, Leonardo Sirios refers  to his work as portalgraphy: a portal (portal: a large or elaborate gate, any entrance to a place, or any means of access to something), and (photo) graph: used to process or record the relationships between light and matter.

Portalgraphic Studies are an experimental practice using a digital camera (for immediate results) and including movement and other motion techniques which break from the traditional photographic, framed in process

One interesting comment that Ted always mentioned was his claim that he could use 35mm film, you just have to wait a while longer to get the results.
